My practice at a glance
Substance use is one of the many ways people try to survive in a world that's felt overwhelming, unsafe, or unsupportive. And maybe you're not using substances, but you notice yourself struggling to slow down, wanting to isolate, feeling guarded, on edge, or maybe even disconnected completely.
Much of my work has been with adults struggling with emotional shutdown, relational anxiety, attachment wounds, a critical inner dialogue, narcissistic abuse, sexual abuse, and deep rooted shame.
In our work together, I bring in somatic awareness, attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, IFS (parts work), and EMDR. Together, we slow things down and begin to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface — with warmth, curiosity, and no judgement.
Asking someone for help or trying therapy for the first time can feel intimidating. It may even feel like you’re going against the grain of what you’ve inherently learned to do within relationships (remain independent, stay strong, figure it out yourself). I want you to know that you don’t have commit to anything if you decide to reach out. We can start by having a conversation to see if we’re a good therapeutic fit and go from there.
When you’re ready I’d be glad to help you take the next step. I look forward to hearing from you.
